UK Urges Young People to Have More Kids Amid Plummeting Birthrates
The British Secretary of Education Bridget Phillipson urged more young people to consider starting families in the midst of the demographic crisis against the United Kingdom.
While young people in the West, especially young women, have long been pushed to focus on their careers rather than family training, it is increasingly recognized that the fall in birth rates can only address the transformation of the importation of millions of foreigners, which has so far been the reaction of the government in most Western countries.
The latest figures from The Office For National Statistics (ONS) showed that in 2023, the British fertility rate fell to 1.44 children per woman, a record level since the government began to follow these figures in 1938 and well below the replacement level of 2.1 children per woman.
This coincided with increased participation of women in the workforce, in conjunction with growing difficulties for young adults to climb on the housing scale, which was exacerbated by mass migration policies imposed in the country by the two parts of Westminster establishment.
While Prime Minister Sir Keir Keir Starmer said before that he would not “tell people how to live their lives” in terms of having children, the best minister of the cabinet Bridget Phillipson said this week that the government should seek to help young people have more children.

Phillipson continued: “A generation of young people thought twice before starting a family; worry not only about the increase in mortgage reimbursements and rents, suspicious not only the price of fuel and food, but also for a childcare system missing simultaneously in places and in ruins. “
The Minister of the Cabinet cited politicians would have intended to help family training driven by the left -wing work government, such as increased expenses in childcare services, to bring women to work after having children.
However, rather than pleading so that women can stay at home to raise their children, Phillipson said that everyone should “welcome” the fact that “more than three -quarters of prosecutor mothers are now in paid work”.
The Labor Party has also been criticized to refuse so far to reverse the “ceiling of benefits to two children”, which restricts the capacity of parents who claim children’s tax credits or universal well-being for more than two children.
