Is a hacker logged into your Google account? Here’s how to tell

If you live in a more populated area, you probably check your doors before going to bed to make sure they are locked. The same idea is also worth applying your accounts online vital – targeting that they are secure.
In this vein, a periodic examination of devices connected to your Google account is a good idea. If someone has stolen your password, you must be aware of this unauthorized access to all your emails, photos, videos and other files. Nor is a pirate the only person to worry. A romantic partner, a roommate, a family member or a friend could also decide to spy on you. You must be sure that only good people have access.
To see which devices are connected to your Google account, you can use either on a PC or your phone. If you spot intruders, delete them, then also change your password to avoid future unauthorized connections.
On a PC
The quick way to check is to go directly to Google.com/devices. Otherwise, you can follow the manual road:
- Open a page for a Google service (search, gmail, etc.)
- Click on your profile icon at the top right of a browser window
- Choose Manage your Google account
- Click Security On the left side of the page
- Scroll until Your devices
- Click on Manage all devices
Look at the list of devices connected to your accounts. For everything you don’t recognize, click on it, then choose disconnect button in the upper section of this information screen.

- On Android or iOS, open the Google application
- Click on your profile icon at the top right
- Choose Manage your Google account
- Choose Security tabs along the top
- Scroll until Your devices
- Press Manage all devices
Check the devices connected to your account. If you seem unknown, press it for more details. To start it from access, press the disconnect button under the device information. (It’s towards the top.)
Declude your applications and services also linked
For a Google account, your greatest concern about unauthorized access should be unknown connected devices. But you should also be careful about third -party services related to your Google account.
The applications and services of missing or abandoned third parties could be taken care of by hackers, which can then abuse authorizations that you have been able to grant to these other accounts. Or, on the other hand, pirates can take the abandoned Google accounts (as say, for a closed company) and reactivate them to access linked third -party applications and services.
