The first round against the starter of the Giants of San Francisco, Kai -Wei Teng, left Alonso two circuits equally – and three to pass – Darryl Strawberry for most of the circuits in the history of the franchise.
Since its beginnings at the MLB of Alonso in 2019, only Judge Aaron des Yankees (269) has struck more circuits.
