Agents of the Mexican cartel have joined the Ukraine front line so that they can learn advanced drone training to deploy against competitors and American security forces in their country of origin.

Ukraine’s counterintelligence service confirmed that it is currently studying the potential infiltration of its international legion, a military unit made up of foreign volunteers, by Latin American drug cartels.

The Ukraine Security Service (SBU), alongside military intelligence, launched the joint mission following previous warnings of the National Intelligence Center for the intention of some of the Mexican recruits.

Shortly after his return to duties in January, President Trump appointed cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, adding: “Cartels have engaged in a campaign of violence and terror throughout the Western hemisphere which has not only destabilized countries with significant importance for our national interests, but also flooded the United States of Mortal Drogues, violent criminals and gangs and gangs vicious.”

These same gangs can now control drones of view in the first person (FPV), which have been effectively deployed by Ukraine both on its front line and in the depths of Russian territory, especially in the Spiderweb operation.

FPV drones were used in coordinated strikes against long -range active assets of the Russian Air Force through six air bases – Belaya, Dyagilevo, Ivanovo, Severny, Olenya and Ukrainka.

Other countries in South America have been interested in the investigation, the Colombian nationals being included, which has posed concerns about Ukraine increasingly used as a training ground for criminal activity.

A tactical group, nicknamed “ethos”, a Hispanophone unit inside the international legion, is particularly interesting, operating in the regions of Donetsk and Kharkiv.

The current main theory is that some Mexican and Colombian recruitment deliberately requested the placement in drone operators units to obtain the necessary training, some entering fraudulent documents.

A Mexican citizen, under the alias “ Aguila-7 ”, signed up for the Legion using a false Salvadorian identification, posing as a humanitarian volunteer before following in-depth training of drones in LVIV.

His familiarity with the electronic war countermeasures of the war made suspect civil servants, which led to history checks confirming a probable connection with the special forces of the GAFE of Mexico, known to have been used historically as a bridge in the use of the cartel.

Ukraine and Russia have intensified drone strikes in recent months, the latter launching 309 drones and cruising missiles on Wednesday evening (July 30), according to Ukraine Air Force, killing at least six.

These aggravations come following a 50 -day ultimatum, later reduced to 12 days, so that Putin ends her war against Ukraine by Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian authorities continue to advance their drone technology, President Volodymyr Zelensky confirming at the end of July that he had entered into an agreement with Trump on the sale of Ukrainian drones in the United States.

Zelensky estimated that the potential contract was worth between $ 10 billion and $ 30 billion.

Mexican cartels have already used drone strikes in their wars against rival factions and domestic security forces while notorious groups concoct new ways of freeing the fear of enemies.

Addressing Intelligence Online, an unnamed official of the SBU said: “We welcomed volunteers in good faith. But we must now recognize that Ukraine has become a platform for the global dissemination of FPV tactics.

“Some come here to learn to kill with a drone of $ 400, then sell this knowledge elsewhere at the most bidder.”
