A poor season for the Atlanta Falcons potentially got worse in Week 11. In addition to losing to their division rivals, the Carolina Panthers, the Falcons may have also lost starting quarterback Michael Penix for the remainder of the season.
Penix – who left the competition early due to a knee injury – could miss the rest of the season because of the issue, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Penix, 25, will seek a second opinion on the injury, but “it’s not encouraging,” according to Schefter.
