CORRIGANVILLE — A Michigan man was jailed Friday after he allegedly fled a traffic stop near Corriganville, resulting in a police pursuit that ended in LaVale with a crash.

The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office said Gabriel William Nosek, 27, of Linden, was traveling on Mount Savage Road when a deputy attempted the traffic stop around 4:30 p.m.

Nosek allegedly sped away and the pursuit continued until Nosek’s vehicle struck a utility pole on Illinois Avenue in LaVale. Nosek also struck two police vehicles, deputies said.
