Microsoft Might Be ‘Fixing’ Windows 11’s Dark Mode
For some, dark mode is a useful way to use devices with light screens at night. For others, black mode is an aesthetic choice, and they use the theme throughout the day.
Dark mode at the OS level, the possibility of corresponding to the theme of all applications and Windows on your device, is the dream, but it is just that of Windows 11 users. Even with its dark theme of the system, Windows 11 has many elements that are still only light mode. Your eyes can be perfectly adjusted to gray and black windows, when suddenly you are blinded by a brilliant white window. Madness.

However, this could change. As discovered by Phantomofearth (via the rod) discovered, Microsoft works on the addition of dark fashion to certain exclusive elements in light mode. More specifically, this includes the dialog boxes for the file operation such as copying, refused access and deletion of several elements.

Phantomofearth notes that these dialogue boxes in dark mode are present in the preview version for Windows 11 version 26100,5061 (26100.4946 is the current public version at the moment) and note that it is always clearly a work in progress, because certain elements here are still in light mode. (Take note of the “Continue” and “Skip” buttons in the refused window for the folder.)

However, it is a great improvement. Users performing the latest public version in dark mode will be welcomed with boxes of brilliant white file operating dialog each time they try to delete several elements or try to perform a task for which they do not have the authorization. All Windows initiates running 26100,5061 will have the eyes spared.
Tom Warren from the penis notes that Microsoft has made no announcements concerning this expansion in dark mode, it therefore belongs to each user how to interpret these tests. Microsoft could make incremental changes, or they could lay the foundations for a real upgrade of the dark mode in a future update. Warren underlines that three key elements of Windows 11 – The control panel, the execution prompt and the user interface interface file properties – still only have windows in light mode, so there are certainly opportunities for Microsoft to improve the dark mode here.
