Microsoft’s Copilot AI text-to-speech gets new, cleaner ‘scripted mode’

Microsoft AI director Mustafa Suleyman recently unveiled in an article on social networks a new feature entitled “Script mode” in Copilot Labs to transform the scripts written in text-spoats. Copilot Labs is an experimental platform where you can try the latest Microsoft AI features that are still in development.
More specifically, the functionality is one of the Copilot audio expressions, which is the real tool that transforms text into spoken audio. Previously, the audio expressions Copilot had only two modes: the story mode (which is held together several vocal styles and characters for a narration experience) and the emotional mode (which uses a unique and distinct voice which corresponds to a particular mood with a certain improvisation).
With scripted mode, Copilot audio expressions can now take text and read it out loud with a fast and direct socket, making sure to read the content quickly without any change of riffing or creative. You can always select the voice and the style to use for reading.
Copilot Audio Expressions is still only available in English, but Microsoft explores the means to take care of more languages.
