Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is getting a second season on Netflix
The new season will be led by Kai Ikarashi, who also produced episode six in the first season, “Girl on Fire”. There is no word yet when Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Will Premiere, but they showed this new illustration of posters. A trailer will be broadcast later this evening during a panel at 8:30 p.m. PT for the animation studio, Trigger.
The showrunner and writer Bartosz Sztybor said during the Friday panel that for the first season, “I just wanted to make the whole world sad … When people are sad, I am a little happy”, and that this new season of 10 episodes will be “… of course, sadder, but it will also be darker, bloodier and brighter.”
