In the same courtroom where Sean Combs fell on his knees three months ago after a jury acquitted him with sex trafficking and racketeering, a calm comb was sitting on his chair looking down while a judge sentenced him to more than four years in prison.
He was silent and not reactive for a large part of the judge’s speech before the conviction, telling Combs that he used his power to subjugate and abuse two women.
“This is the reality of what happened,” said the judge.
After the court was postponed, Combs turned around to look at his family and seemed to the mouths of words: “I love you, I’m sorry.”
It was a different message from three months ago when a joyful comb said to his family after the verdict he “came home”.
