Kamala Harris Launches ‘Fight for the People’ PAC
Kamala Harris, former vice president and failed presidential candidate, revealed plans to create a political action committee called “Fight for the people“, describing it as a way to travel, express yourself and support Democratic candidates through fundraising efforts.
The text sent under the subject line “My Decision – Kamala Harris” describes her motivations and goals for the new initiative, calling for grassroots donations before the first fundraising deadline.
“I’ve tried not to send fundraising texts since the last election,” the message begins, “but I wanted to take a few minutes to talk to you about how I’ve decided to approach this moment — and why I hope you’re still with me in this fight.
In the message, Harris cautions against viewing current events as merely disorganized or irregular. “Some people describe what has happened over the last few months as absolute chaos.
