CNN’s Reiner ‘Concerned’ Trump’s Health Issues Being Hidden from the Public

On CNN’s “The Lead” Thursday, Jonathan Reiner, the network’s medical analyst, said he was very concerned that the public was not being informed of “anything significant” about President Donald Trump’s health problems.
Host Phil Mattingly said, “Just last month, you said you were seriously concerned about the president’s health. What is your level of concern after hearing the president? He says he’s perfectly healthy.”
Reiner said: “Well, I’m mostly concerned that the public really hasn’t learned anything meaningful about the president’s health here. So let’s go back and look at what’s happened over the last nine months. The president had a physical, a complete physical in April, Walter Reed. And, you know, they listed, you know, a bunch of studies that were basically all normal. The president was great. And they and there was nothing else to see over the summer The President, really developed, the ankles were very swollen, which prompted another round of tests They called it chronic venous insufficiency, even though a few months earlier, during his full examination, the President’s doctor had said there was no swelling in the leg. of the president others, essentially euphemisms, to describe what the president, the ordeal he went through, went through.
He continued: “And the euphemism was advanced imaging. And they didn’t describe whether it was a CT scan or an MRI. And then later, a few days later, on Air Force One, the president basically said he had an MRI, that he couldn’t describe a body part, but he said he had an MRI, which prompted the president’s doctor to issue another statement again, in which he didn’t described the specific test that the president had and said that, again, everything looked good And now We have learned that the president did not have an MRI He actually had a CT scan, which explains why the president’s position did not describe the test after the president disclosed his MRI because he did not have an MRI. So from what we can tell, the president had a heart scan or what looks like a CT angiogram, which is. basically a non-invasive way to find out if the president has significant coronary artery disease.
He added: “I’m almost less concerned about the actual cause of the president’s bruising. We can talk about that than I am about why the White House medical team felt the need to study it over the last few months. What symptoms? What clinical concerns caused this? Because the president is right. When you test the president of the United States, it creates a lot of concern.”
