The biggest original film to arrive on Netflix in July is undoubtedly happy Gilmore 2. The continuation of Adam Sandler was 30 years and marks the return of one of his most emblematic characters, Happy Gilmore, a fan of hockey obsessed with Boston Bruins who transforms his villain Slashot into a professional golf career.

Happy Gilmore 2 should be presented on Netflix on July 25 and presents most of the distribution of the original film; Sandler is joined by Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, Dennis Dugan and Ben Stiller, who take up all their roles from the first film. (Unfortunately, some members of the original distribution of 1996, including Bob Barker and Carl Weathers, have died, but new characters played by Bad Bunny, Kym Whitley and Benny Safdie will make their debut in the suite.) With so much media threshing around the new version, it is logical that fans are reviewing the original. The restart is out – it’s because on August 1, Happy Gilmore will no longer be on Netflix.

While you can always rent Happy Gilmore on platforms like Video premium And Apple TV, it will not be broadcast on Netflix or any other subscription service, at least not at the moment. This could put a shock absorber on your plans for a happy double gilmore function.

Although the timing is not ideal, you will have about a week between July 25 and 31 to watch the two films on the platform, so put a reminder to watch the original as soon as possible.
