MSU target, 5-star SF Anthony Thompson preparing to cut list of schools in consideration

One of the best targets of Spartans in the 2026 class has provided an update on its recruitment which is remarkable in the state of Michigan and others chasing its talents.

The small five -star attacker Anthony Thompson recently met Dushawn London of 247sports where he revealed that he closed the reduction of his list of schools in consideration. Thompson previously announced his best schools, which included Michigan State, and now it seems that he will reduce it even more soon.

Here is what Thompson said to London on the current level of his recruitment:

"I have not organized any official visit so far. I am quite far in my recruitment process. I’m probably going to restrict my list very soon. I hope that I will soon be able to organize some visits."

His best school lists include Michigan State, North Carolina, Michigan, Byu, Ohio State, Purdue, Notre Dame, Auburn, Indiana, Georgetown, Kentucky, Texas, Kansas, Xavier and Louisville.

Thompson ranks like the little striker n ° 3 and the overall perspective n ° 9 in the classification of 247sports for the class 2026. He is also listed as the best player in Ohio.

We will have to keep our eyes open on all Thompson updates because it is the type of player that could transform any class into elite status. If the state of Michigan can raise it on the campus for an official visit, I like their chances of subscribing in this target of the Midwest.
