Mahrousa brand tahini is recalled in Canada due to Salmonella contamination.

The tahini involved is sold in jars with labels written in Arabic. Labels do not have a UPC number. The jars are marked with code P 06/23/2024; E 06/23/2026.

The Salmonella contamination was found through testing by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

About Salmonella Infections
