Republican Rep Randy Fine Says People In Gaza Can ‘Starve Away’ Until Hostages Are Released

The Florida Republican representative, Randy Fine, went to X on Tuesday, saying that civilians should continue to starve to Gaza until the remaining hostages are released by the terrorist group Hamas.

With more than 200 hostages taken during the attack on October 7, 2023 against Israel, Hamas slowly released Israeli and non -Israeli, dead and living hostages. According to ABC News, the Ministry of Health of Gaza, managed by Hamas, alleged that deaths had taken place in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths caused by famine and malnutrition to 101 – including 80 children – since the start of the War of Israel -Gaza.

In May, members of the World Health Organization (WHO) reported their concerns about the risk of famine in Gaza while war continues to disrupt humanitarian aid. According to the WHO, a classification report for the integrated food security phase warned that around 71,000 children under the age of five should be “malnourished” in the next 11 months due to alleged aid blockages.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Health of Gaza (GHM) told Reuters on Tuesday that hospitals would be “overwhelmed by the number of victims of gunshots” and “cannot provide much more aid to the symptoms linked to hunger due to the shortages of food and medication”. However, the GHM foreigner verification on the death toll after the famine was not reported on Tuesday.

Since his campaign, President Donald Trump has called for peace between Gaza and Israel, with around 50 remaining hostages, according to the Associated Press.
