Proudly express yourself and own your space with the Logitech POP ICON KEYS, a wireless Bluetooth keyboard with a bold aesthetic, comfy typing, and customizable Action Keys.

The Logitech POP Icon Keys has been my main keyboard for close to a year, and it’s a great option for a low-profile desktop keyboard with simple software customization. Now you can get it on sale for $40 at Amazon and Logitech, as part of Amazon’s October Prime Day sale.

This is a wireless membrane keyboard with a 75% layout, giving you a laptop keyboard-style experience with function and media keys on the top row. There are no mechanical key switches, and there’s no key backlighting at all, much less RGB. The lack of lights helps extend the battery life for as long as possible—Logitech estimates a 3-year battery life with its two AAA batteries.

Like many other wireless keyboards and mice, the POP Icon Keys can store three wireless connections in memory, and you can switch between them with the easy switch buttons. It’s primarily designed to use Bluetooth connections, but you can also pair it to a Logi Bolt USB adapter (not the older Logitech adapters).

You can use the Logi Options+ app to customize the four shortcut buttons on the right side. They can be mapped to various system actions, or they can open an application on your computer. I set the first two keys as skip buttons for music playback, since those aren’t in the media key row, and set another one to open my Mac’s Calculator.

Customizing the POP Icon Keys keyboard in Logi Options+ app

I initially got the POP Icon Keys because I wanted a laptop-style typing experience at my desktop, and complete with low-travel membrane keys, and it has worked well. My only real complaint is that the keyboard is only wireless. If you want to use the keyboard with a computer that doesn’t support Bluetooth, or in a BIOS/UEFI environment, your only option is to pair a Logi Bolt adapter.

If you want a wireless keyboard that gets all the basics right, I can definitely recommend the Logitech POP Icon Keys, especially at the current 20% deal.
