Apple is reportedly planning a big week – and warning retailers that its sales numbers could be crazy.

The news came from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, one of the leading sources on all things Apple. Gurman wrote that the tech giant has warned retailers that this week’s releases — particularly its budget iPhone 17e and MacBook — could generate major interest.

Wrote Gurman in his To light up bulletin:

“Apple is preparing for a rush to retail stores, driven by new products. The company told retail stores to expect an influx of customers in response to products introduced this week. Some employees even say that pre-launch planning is comparable to what happens before new iPhones launch in the fall. This suggests that Apple is expecting a lot of pent-up demand for the new offerings – and that at least one of the products will have major mainstream appeal. »

Apple is slowly releasing details of its new products this week. Monday already brought news of the iPhone 17e, a budget-friendly deal starting at $599. It also announced a new iPad Air M4, which starts at $599. Pre-orders for the devices begin on Wednesday, March 4.

Apple has broken sales records since launching the iPhone 17 line in September 2025. Tim Cook said last year that the iPhone 17 was in extremely high demand, and the company recently announced record quarterly revenue driven by iPhone sales. In January, Apple officially became the world’s most popular smartphone brand, surpassing Samsung.

With the launch of budget versions of its flagship products, the company could see even higher revenues in the coming months. Apple is expected to make further announcements on Monday or Tuesday, before a Apple will host a “special experience” on March 4. What could happen?.

With all the news coming in, it certainly seems like a big week for Apple and its fans.
