Savannah Guthrie and her family face a terrifying and fast-approaching deadline to pay a $6 million ransom later Monday to friends claiming to have “Today” host Nancy Guthrie’s missing 84-year-old mother.

The ransom demand set a deadline of 5 p.m. Arizona time (7 p.m. ET) to pay off a Bitcoin account or face serious consequences nine days after the family matriarch was allegedly snatched from her bed in her million-dollar home in Catalina Foothills.

In her latest appeal to those who claimed to be holding her mother, Savannah Gutgrie said the family was willing to pay – but needed proof her mother was still alive.

“We received your message and we understand,” the morning show host said, addressing the alleged kidnappers, flanked by her brother Camron and sister Annie.

“We are begging you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we can have peace.

“This is very valuable to us and we will pay for it.”

In addition to the pressing deadline, the missing mother has a pacemaker and health problems that could kill her if she doesn’t take her medication.

Heith Janke, the FBI special agent in charge of Phoenix, told the suspected kidnappers to “do the right thing.”

“You still have time to do the right thing before this becomes a much worse scenario for you,” he said. “Please take Nancy home.”

Police in Arizona continue to search for Nancy, with officers seen looking through a septic tank and sewer hole at her home and taking photos inside the property late at night.

Authorities remained tight-lipped, not revealing whether anything had been found.

Pima County police confirmed the force will maintain a presence at the 84-year-old’s home to keep people away.

Cops conducted a late-night search of Annie’s home – located about four miles from Nancy’s property – on Saturday evening.

Investigators were inside for about three hours and were seen wearing blue gloves and carrying brown bags, according to NewsNation.

Nancy was reported missing on February 1 after failing to show up for a church service.

She was last seen the day before around 9:45 p.m., following a family dinner. His garage door opened at 9:48 p.m. before closing two minutes later.

FBI agents are offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to Nancy’s location or the arrest of a suspect.

Although FBI Director Kash Patel is visiting Tucson, it has “no relation to this investigation,” Brooke Brennan, public affairs manager for the FBI in Phoenix, told CNN.

“Director Patel is receiving personal updates from his team on this matter,” Brennan said, without explaining exactly why he is traveling to the area, only saying it was planned “weeks ago.”
