Vehicular Attacks Up 3200 Percent – RedState
Law enforcement, at any level, can be a dangerous business. Law enforcement officers – LEOs – are frequently called upon to deal with people who, frankly, are not pillars of the community. Federal law enforcement is no exception, and these days it seems like it’s becoming more and more dangerous if one is an officer tasked with enforcing our nation’s immigration laws.
This is largely due to the actions of left-wing lunatics who are doing everything they can to interfere with these officers, and they are not just yelling and waving signs. A new report from the Department of Homeland Security now indicates that assaults against Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are skyrocketing.
Assaults on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers increased 1,300 percent, attacks on vehicles increased 3,200 percent and death threats increased 8,000 percent, the Department of Homeland Security said after a U.S. citizen was shot and killed in an alleged vehicle attack in Minneapolis this week.
Federal authorities say the shooting was justified and an act of self-defense. Local and state officials say otherwise.
This issue will undoubtedly be challenged through the appropriate channels. As will be the case in this case:
A day after the Minneapolis shooting, two Venezuelan nationals were shot and killed by a Border Patrol agent after trying to run him over with their vehicle in Portland, Oregon, the Department of Homeland Security said. said. DHS also describes the shooting as self-defense and justified.
The two Venezuelans and suspected Tren de Aragua members “used their vehicle as a weapon against Border Patrol in Portland. The agent took immediate action to defend himself and others, shooting at them,” DHS said.
These are clearly people we do not want in our country; they wouldn’t have been in Portland at all without the Biden administration’s failure to enforce border and immigration laws. Agents from ICE, DHS, and Border Patrol are trying to keep this mess under control and doing nothing but enforcing the laws passed by our elected representatives through the process set forth in the Constitution.

Enforcement actions continue as attacks on ICE agents have increased at an unprecedented rate in less than a year. Assaults on ICE agents increased by 1,000% and death threats by 8,000% in November, The Center Square reported.
ICE and Border Patrol agents have also experienced a historic wave of vehicle attacks. In November, there were 71 reported vehicular attacks against U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers, including the Border Patrol, compared to 45 vehicular attacks during the same period in 2024, an increase of 58%, The Center Square. reported.
During the same period, there were 28 reported vehicular attacks on ICE agents, compared to two attacks in 2024, a 1,300% increase.
That percentage has since increased nearly threefold to 3,200% last week, DHS said.
Yes, law enforcement is indeed a dangerous activity. But it is the left-wing demonstrators, the rioters and, let’s face it, the rebels, who are playing the most dangerous game here. They walk on the territory of the insurrection; not “walking around the Capitol taking selfies,” a kind of hooliganism, but a real insurrection without Schiff. The left is on this line and seems ready to take the plunge, and it will not end at all as they think.
