Astronauts aboard the orbit laboratory communicate with the NASA mission control center in Houston 24 hours a day through Scan (Space Communications and Navigation) near the space network.
Important research and technological surveys take place aboard the space station benefit people on earth and set the foundations for other agency missions. As part of the Artemis campaign of NASA, the agency will send astronauts to the moon to prepare for a future human exploration of Mars; Inspire the golden age explorers and ensure that the United States continues to conduct spatial exploration and discovery.
