NASA Awards Second Human Health, Performance Contract

NASA has selected KBR Wyle Services, LLC of Fulton, Maryland, to provide services to the Directorate of Health and Human Performances of the Johnson Space Center of the Agency in Houston, which focuses on the health of astronauts, professional health and research which could help to mitigate the health risks of future human luxury missions.
The health and human performance contract 2 is an indefinite delivery contract on indefinite / indefinite delivery at one time which begins its period of performance of five years on November 1, with two possible options which could extend it until 2035. The estimated total value of the basic period plus the optional periods is 3.6 billion dollars. Leidos, Inc. de Reston, Virginie, is a subcontractor.
The contract acquires support services for several programs, mainly at NASA Johnson. This includes the human research program, the international space station program, the commercial crew program, the Artemis campaign, etc. Services include the health, safety and performance of the crew; provide occupational health services; And conduct research on the attenuation of health, safety and performance of future space flight teams.
