Titans fan survey: 500 fans share opinions on Brian Callahan, Amy Adams Strunk, Cam Ward

This summer, The Tennessean surveyed nearly 500 Tennessee Titans fans. Respondents were collected via Tennessean.com, the Talkin’ Titans newsletter, social media and Reddit.com. Participants were allowed to skip questions they didn’t feel comfortable answering.

The results are as follows:

1. I believe the Tennessee Titans are . . .

  • In a good place: 1 (0.2%)
  • Trending in the right direction: 300 (61%)
  • Middle of the road: 104 (21.1%)
  • Trending in the wrong direction: 16 (3.3%)
  • In a bad place: 71 (14.4%)

2. I believe Brian Callahan is . . .

  • Already a good/great coach: 7 (1.4%)
  • On pace to be a good/great coach: 148 (30.1%)
  • On pace to be an average coach: 245 (49.9%)
  • Already an average coach: 51 (10.4%)
  • A bad coach and always will be: 40 (8.1%)

3. I believe Mike Borgonzi and Chad Brinker . . .

  • Are a great pair in the front office: 55 (11.3%)
  • Are on pace to be good/great at their jobs: 273 (56.1%)
  • Might be good enough but won’t be difference-makers: 101 (20.7%)
  • Aren’t a long-term solve in the front office: 43 (8.8%)
  • Are a disaster waiting to happen: 15 (3.1%)

4. I believe Cam Ward . . .

  • Is a slam-dunk future superstar QB: 104 (21.2%)
  • Will be good: 318 (64.8%)
  • Will be an average NFL starter: 56 (11.4%)
  • Will be a bust: 13 (2.6%)

5. I believe the Titans’ ownership group . . .

  • Is doing a good/great job: 18 (3.7%)
  • Is back on the right track: 116 (23.5%)
  • Is neither a problem nor a positive: 153 (31%)
  • Isn’t doing a good enough job: 140 (28.4%)

  • The Titans make the Super Bowl: 15 (3%)
