Naylor drives in 4 as Guardians beat Twins 6-2 for eighth straight victory
Minneapolis (AP) – Bo Naylor has managed an eighth round with his second single of two points in the match, and the Cleveland Guardians beat the Minnesota 6-2 Twins Friday evening for their eighth consecutive victory.
The Guardians (82-71) won for the 13th time in 14 games to shoot in the 2,1/2 games of the Tigers of first place in the Central. Cleveland came out of a three-game Detroit scan, which lost 10-1 against the brave visiting Friday with three games that are looming in Cleveland next week.

José Ramírez had a double to two withdrawal from Cole Sands (4-6) in the eighth and Kyle Manzardo was intentionally walked. Ramírez stolen his 40th base and Manzardo followed with his second to put the table for Naylor, who aligned land on the right field for a 4-2 lead.
Steven Kwan and Angel Martínez had two doubles from RBI in Michael Tonkin’s ninth to cap the scoring.
Kwan led the match with only one off Pablo López and Ramírez left with a withdrawal. The two advanced a base when Manzardo flew to the left and Naylor followed with a single to two on the right for a 2-0 lead.
The twins equaled it to the sixth on a wild land of Parker Messick and Royce Lewis, Rbi single off Matt Festa.

Messick withdrew nine rounds in 5 1/3 and granted two points on five strokes. Jakob Junis (4-1) withdrew four rounds in two rounds without sure blow for victory.
Lopez on the left after four rounds with a constraint of the right forearm. He granted two points on three strokes during his third departure for three missing months with a tension on the right shoulder.
The Minnesota (66-87) dropped seven of the 10 to the guards this season.

Naylor’s second stroke also maintained the Guardians within 1 1/2 games of the final Wild Card.
Key statistics
Ramírez played his 1,600th match for Cleveland, third in the history of the franchise behind Terry Turner (1,619) and the Hall of Famer Nap Lajoie (1,614).

The Guardians RHP Slade Cecconi (6-6, 4.39) will start the first double twins match opposite Saturday RHP Joe Ryan (13-8, 3.35). The Guardians LHP Logan Allen (7-11, 4.36) and the twins RHP Bailey Ober (5-8, 5.12) will be faced in the last glass.
