Need an ace to win big? Why Mets won’t overpay for one

NEW YORK-David Stearns was about to disappear in the New York Mets clubhouse on Monday afternoon when he stopped to answer questions about the only potentially prominent flaw on his list after the deadline: the starting rotation.

The blatant incapacity for the starters of the dishes to participate deep in the matches in the last two months – David Peterson is the only one to connect at least six rounds during this period – prompted fans to plead for the president of the baseball operations of the food to strengthen the rotation.
