Dumfries gave his opinion on the difference between playing in Serie A and the Premier League.
“The Premier League is a fantastic league, but right now I’m playing in Serie A,” he said.
“But if the opportunity [to play in the Premier League] had to introduce myself, I would jump on it.
“I’m happy in Inter,” said Dumfries. “I’m happy with Inter, but I think I could also do well in the Premier League.”
“I would certainly be interested in that,” said the Dutchman. “The Premier League is known for its intensity, while Serie A is one of the best leagues in terms of tactical level.”
“These are different approaches to football. But the Champions League still offers exciting matches.”
Then Dumfries spoke of the trainer of Inter Cristian Chivu. “He played for Ajax,” said the 29 -year -old player. “We have obviously talked about it.”
“The way the Dutch style of play is different from that of Italian.”
“But his ideas are always very clear. And he has very clear ideas about what he wants.”
“It’s not something new for me,” said Dumfries. “And it’s good that we both knew the Dutch football school.”
