Iran’s oil fields are continuing to burn after an Israeli attack that triggered Iran to retaliate against oil facilities. The United States is speeding up the deployment of at least 2,200 marines to the Middle East, according to two people familiar with the decision, with their mission to secure the Strait of Hormuz. It comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the world should thank Israel and President Donald Trump for confronting Iran and responded to how he thinks the war will end. NBC’s Richard Engel reports for TODAY.
