NJ Twins Charged with Death Threats to DHS Official, Vowing to ‘Shoot ICE on Sight’ – RedState
Enforcing immigration law has always been a risky task, but today it seems riskier than ever. Assaults against Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have skyrocketed since the Trump administration began enforcing immigration laws. On Tuesday, we learned that two men, twins, from New Jersey were arrested for making some pretty sinister threats not only against ICE field agents, but directly against DHS Deputy Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
A Fox News exclusive released Tuesday has details. These twins are now looking through steel bars.
Two New Jersey brothers have been arrested on charges related to making terroristic threats against top deputy DHS chief Kristi Noem while speaking to the public, including allegedly promising to “shoot ICE agents on sight.” A brother also faces charges of illegal gun possession.
These harrowing allegations come amid an 8,000% increase in death threats against Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel. The alleged targeting of Deputy Secretary Tricia McLaughlin presented a new danger for those working to carry out President Donald Trump’s mass deportation of the “worst of the worst” criminal illegal immigrants.
Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores and Emilio Roman-Flores, twins from Absecon, New Jersey, near Atlantic City; were arrested after allegedly posting to X that they wanted to torture and kill McLaughlin in medieval fashion.
There are photos of weapons recovered during the arrest, which appear to be an AR-15-style rifle and a Mossberg 590 shotgun, a 12-gauge with a nine-round capacity. Whatever these goblins intended to do, they had effective weapons to achieve it.
Some of their social media posts show a sad lack of understanding of the Second Amendment:
“[The Second] An amendment is in place for times like this. Shoot ICE on sight,” one of the brothers reportedly tweeted in a partially redacted response to a post from McLaughlin:
“We Americans should find you, tar you, feather you and hang you like we did anyone who served tyrants before the Revolutionary War.”
A second, partially redacted tweet, apparently from the other brother, said: “Shoot ICE on sight. »
This is not what the Second Amendment was put in place for. The Second Amendment recognizes the right of American citizens to bear arms as a bulwark against the repression of citizens by a tyrannical government, and not to take up arms against an agency that is lawfully carrying out its constitutional functions in searching for and removing those who are in the country illegally.

The twins are U.S. citizens, so even though they face serious charges and, hopefully, if convicted, lengthy prison sentences, they can take comfort in knowing they won’t be deported, as satisfying as that might be.
Both suspects are American citizens. Emilio was charged with unlawful possession of an assault weapon, possession of prohibited weapons, conspiracy, terroristic threats, criminal coercion and cyberstalking.
His brother, Ricardo, was charged with conspiracy and making terrorist threats.
We are seeing an increase in threats of violence against DHS and ICE agents; These threats come, as I constantly point out, almost exclusively from the left. The “peaceful protesters” who harass and attack ICE and DHS field agents are also exclusively creatures of the left. The left likes to pretend that the right is unstable and violent, but here, once again, we have a striking example of the exact opposite being true. These New Jersey twins appear to have planned an armed attack. They said it.
The Trump administration is not backing down. ICE and DHS will continue to do their jobs. And sooner or later, some far-left weirdo will cross that big red line, and then it’ll be Katie-bar-the-door.
