A New Jersey woman pursues a Camden County McDonald’s on serious burns that she would have suffered by the coffee himself by a window at the wheel.

Pamela Evans claims that “coffee overheated by negligence at a dangerous temperature for manipulation and / or consumption by the public” was served on September 4, 2023, according to NJ.com.

The plaintiff alleges that her coffee order was “negligent” which was given to him in a way that caused a spill of hot liquid. Evans claims to have undergone other “serious injuries” when she reflexively removed her hand, slamming her against the door of her car.

The trial lodged on August 29 alleges that the applicant’s permanent injuries prevented him from working as medical expenses are accumulated. Evans invoices that the fast food giant has been neglected in its job practices, its training and its supervision of employees.

It is not known how much money it requires in damages. McDonald’s did not immediately respond to a request for comments.

A New Mexico jury granted $ 2.8 million to a 79-year-old woman who continued McDonald’s in 1994 after suffering from injuries to burns to the second and third degree caused by a hot cafe that was transmitted to him through a steering wheel window. The case, Liebeck c. McDonald’s Restaurants, made the headlines of the national newspapers due to the amount that has been awarded and the extent of the victim’s injuries.
