Newsom Tries to Shame Nick Shirley for Investigating CA Fraud, but Shirley Smokes Him With Brutal Reply – RedState

You remember Nick Shirley, the courageous young investigative reporter who reported on the Minneapolis Quality “Learning” Center and exposed widespread fraud in Gov. Tim Walz’s Gopher State.
Her revelations not only went viral on social media; they had real-world consequences: a federal investigation, a freeze on child care payments, and Shirley testifying before Congress. Less than 24 hours after a heated online exchange between the investigative reporter and Walz, the already embattled governor stunned observers by announcing he was not running for re-election.
“I DONE TIM WALZ,” Shirley wrote on X in early January.
He then set his sights on California and released a 40-minute video on Wednesday showing what he’s found so far:
🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my team and I exposing the California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger… We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud because these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud needs to STOP.
We ALL work… pic.twitter.com/7nWX9jL6NI

We ALL work too hard and pay too much tax for this to happen. These fraudsters have successfully defrauded American taxpayers for years without any resistance from the public and politicians.
It’s time to EXPOSE EVERYTHING and end America’s fraud crisis.
In his article, he claims to have uncovered $170 million in fraud, waste and abuse in the Golden State. Such audacity, of course, drove the state’s omnipresent governor, Gavin Newsom, crazy:

Oh, isn’t that funny? Your state is collapsing, allegations of fraud have been repeated under your leadership, and this is what is published on your official website. funded by taxpayers account? Making fun of an American citizen for doing legitimate investigative reporting?
Really ashamed.
However, Nick Shirley quickly showed who the adult in the room was with his excellent response:
You realize I’m trying to help America eliminate fraud and waste, right? No point trying to make me out to be the bad guy for reporting fraud.
People are done with that. Start working for the people and not against them.

“You realize I’m trying to help America eliminate fraud and waste, right? » Shirley wrote. “No need to try to make me out to be the bad guy for exposing fraud.”
This is an elegant – but pointed – retort, the type we could only hope for from our elegantly coiffed governor.

The reality is that what Newsom is making fun of is not funny at all and reveals for the umpteenth time how much California has declined under his leadership.
Conservative actor James Woods gave his opinion:
This guy is a classic patriot. If it were 1776, he would sign the Declaration. He should be praised by all Americans except the fraudsters, which of course is why Democrats hate him. @nickshirleyy https://t.co/FWIJpH1Gsw

Newsom continues to be an embarrassment to the state; in fact, to the whole country.
Editor’s note: Gavin Newsom wants to turn America into a big version of California – a failed, overworked dystopian nightmare.
