NFL player Ronnie Hickman beated up by group of men in Lower East Side hotel lobby

NFL player Ronnie Hickman was attacked by a group of men at a Lower East Side hotel early Monday, a law enforcement source said.
Hickman, a 24-year-old South Orange, N.J., native and safety for the Cleveland Browns, was attacked by four men just before 4:30 a.m. in the lobby of the SIXTY LES Hotel on Allen St., near E. Houston St.
Just before the assault, the two sides argued, but it is unclear what the dispute was about or whether the attackers recognized Hickman as an NFL player, the source said.
Hickman was treated at Bellevue Hospital for minor injuries. He was “later released and is resting at home with his family,” a Browns spokesperson said.
There was no immediate description of the suspects, who fled and were not arrested.
Hickman, a three-year veteran, played college football at Ohio St. University.
