NHL Enforcer Who Tossed Golfer into Pond Breaks His Silence

Nick Tarnasky, the former NHL executor who beat a drunk golfer to a pulp after a recent disagreement on a Canadian course, gives his side of viral history.
On a recent episode of Spittin ‘Chiclets Podcast, Tarnasky, a five -year NHL veterinarian with three different teams, told listeners that the fight started in July at the Alberta Springs golf course in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.
The former NHL player says that the drunk golfer playing in front of him took 20-25 minutes per hole and became bellicose with other golfers.
“At the end of the day, I asked him not to do it, I told him that he should not get involved with me, I asked him to move on, I gave him every opportunity not to do it, and he loaded me,” said Tarnasky. “I’m not going to fold, it’s not my nature.”
Trevor Ogilvie, the drunk golfer who published his own video apologizing for his behavior, did not respond gently when Tarnasky told him to “move”, and the fight was on.
“It instantly triggered him,” said Tarnasky. “He punches and pumping the arms, and that’s where the altercation begins, it’s on the video.”
Tarnasky threatened to throw Ogilvie into the pond to encourage him to play faster.
“If I hear that I will be thrown into the pond by this mutant F * Cking, I may relax,” said Tarnasky. “I thought it might be a fun way to be like:” You are wrong, let’s speed things up. “”
It clearly did not work because Tarnasky had not only launching Ogilvie in the pond, but also beating it.
The former NHL executor said the police finally arrived and he explained his side of what had happened.
On the right side, Tarnasky said that viral video had prompted a bunch of his former teammates to reach out.
“It’s nice to hear each teammate with who I played for 13 to 14 years in my life,” he said. “The guys are drawn.”
