The Beats Studio Series has been around for years: its over-ear design, ANC, and premium build and features set them apart from other Beats headphones. The Beats Studio3 are not the newest model (they came out in 2017) but they are still very good headphones in 2025, especially at their current price of $89 (originally $349.99).
I’ve had these headphones for a few years and love them. The fit is slim, so you can wear them to the gym without worrying about them slipping down. They feature active noise cancellation that you can turn on and off from the Beats companion app. They won’t be as good as the ANC you can find among the best headphones released this year, but for $89, they’re excellent. Like all Beats headphones, you’ll get a rich, crisp sound signature with an emphasis on high-mid definition, according to PCMag’s review. Of course, you can also adjust the playback in the EQ settings.
What do you think of it so far?
You get around 22 hours of audio playback with ANC enabled and 40 hours without, but you also get an AUX port (included in the box) in case you want to listen to music without Bluetooth and not rely on the battery. The Apple W1 chip allows iOS users to easily connect to the headphones. Keep in mind that since these are older earbuds, they use a microUSB connection to charge, but a cord is included.
