A New Jersey school board candidate allegedly sent a vile text message, attacking a Republican and current New Jersey school board member, according to a recent report.

Scott Semaya, who ran for the Marlboro school board, allegedly sent text messages during a group chat called “ThisBitchNeedsToDie,” which reportedly included members such as Mitesh Gandhi, the husband of one of the school board members, and Chad Hyett, the school board vice president, according to the New York Post.

In one of the group chat messages, Semaya, who is described as having “progressive liberal views,” allegedly wrote about Danielle Bellomo: “Bellomo must be cold – her nips could cut glass, couldn’t she,” according to an alleged image of the text shared with the outlet.

Bellomo, who is described as a “President Trump-supporting mother of three,” told the outlet that finding out about the messages was “absolutely terrifying” and that she was “absolutely shocked.”

“It sent shivers down my spine,” Bellomo told the outlet, adding that “she saw several other images of the messages exchanged by the group.”

Although Bellomo did not share “the additional images,” other text messages seen by Bellomo reportedly include members of the group talking about “very specific actions they want to do to him,” according to the outlet.

After images of the text messages surfaced, Semaya announced he would leave the race, according to the outlet.

“These text messages are the first time I can see that they don’t want me alive,” Bellomo told the outlet.

Marlboro Township Mayor Jonathan Hornik called the text messages “totally unacceptable” and said “violence and threats of violence against public officials appear to be becoming normalized.”

The report that Semaya sent a vile text message about Bellomo comes after the National review obtained text messages that Virginia Democratic attorney general candidate Jay Jones sent in 2022 to Virginia House Delegate Carrie Coyner (R), harboring thoughts about a hypothetical situation in which he would shoot former Virginia House of Delegates Speaker Todd Gilbert.
