Norbert Novenyi Jr. continues to surge post-Bellator with second-straight finish
Life beyond Bellator is treating Norbert Novenyi well.
Touted as one of the now-debunked promotion's most promising prospects during his rise to notoriety, Novenyi (9-1) departed the promotion after a loss to Dalton Rosta at the start of the PFL era.
Since then, Novenyi has done well for himself. Friday, he continued the trend when he submitted Madalin Pirvulescu (7-3) by 96-second triangle choke submission at Hexagone MMA 36 at MET Arena in Szekesfehervar, Hungary.

Novenyi moves to 2-0 since his Bellator departure. He is still only 26 and competes at middleweight, which is always in need of prospects. Could the UFC be in his future? Only time will tell.
