NotebookLM Can Now Make Flashcards and Quizzes to Help You Study

If it was not easy that Notebooklm promised to be the Ultimate IA tool for school, it should be now. And Google has more to share for the fall season.

On Monday, Google announced its latest Notebooklm features, including the option of generating flashcards, quizs, new reports and more. New audio formats for the view of popular sets were also published last week.

What distinguishes Notebooklm from other AI tools is that it will only be based on the source equipment you provide to him to answer questions or generate content. This makes it incredibly useful for school work. Simply throw your class notes or course plan, and let Notebooklm decompose everything for you.

Flash cards

If you like to study in short gusts rather than having a long study guide, try the notebooks flash cards. If you have to remember the basic concepts or specific moments, dates, people or something like, these fast strikers are there to help you.

You can customize the number of flash cards (less, standard, plus) and the difficulty of questions (easy, medium, hard) in a few clicks. And if you want to focus on a single part of the source equipment, you can specify the subject or the front of the cards to be shorter for memorization purposes.

Quiz

The quizs are exactly what they look like and are perfect if you are in the mood to test your knowledge on a particular subject. Like Flashcards, you will be able to personalize the number of questions and the level of difficulty. After finishing the quiz, you will receive your score and have the opportunity to review the quiz.

Improved reports

Carnetlm carnets users have long been able to generate study guides and information documents according to downloaded sources, but other options will soon be available. Once deployed, you can generate personalized reports according to your own guests, blogs and more.

Click on the reports button in the Studio tab of notebooklm will open a new view and a format section with four options for Create yours,, Briefing doc,, Study guide And Blog. Below, four formatting options generated by AI will be available, specific to your sources.

Learning guide

The cat with Gemini in Notebooklm also received an upgrade. Users can change conversation style responses to options such as “analyst” or “guide”, and you can also customize the duration of the responses you receive.

Notebooks evaluated by peers

Google has teamed up with OpenStax, an Open Education Resources publisher, to offer six new public notebooks based on university books evaluated by peers.

These six titles are added to other public notebooks published in partnership with publications, researchers and non -profit organizations.
