Now you can 3D print keycaps (or anything else) in official Noctua Brown

Noctua PC case fans are quiet. Really, really quiet, much quieter than its human fans, who praise the Austrian cooling manufacturer and are sometimes willing to shell out serious sums for GPU collaborations. But if you’re looking to save a little money, you can now print a new shroud for your graphics card in 100% official Noctua Brown and Beige.
The licensed filament is a collaboration with Prusa (spotted by PC Gamer) and it should be compatible with any 3D printer that can use polylactic acid (PLA) plastic. Promotional images show a full PC case and mechanical keyboard keys (oh, sensual temptress) made from Noctua’s distinctive colors. Both plastic options are “carefully tuned for maximum consistency with Noctua’s signature beige and brown shades.”

Rolls of filament can be purchased for $33 USD or 33 euros per kilogram on the Prusa website. That’s double or even triple the price of a budget filament you can find elsewhere… but Noctua fans (humans) are used to paying full price. If you’re looking for inspiration, Noctua has an official — and very popular one! — counts on a Printables with various accessories designed by the company itself, and a few others from other designers. You can now print a small wind tunnel model in official Noctua Brown. What a time to be alive.
