NYPD investigating death of woman, 18, in police custody in Bronx precinct

The NYPD is investigating the death of an 18 -year -old woman who fell unconscious when she was in police custody in a Bronx police station, the cops announced on Saturday.
The teenager was inside the 41st station station station on Longwood Ave. Around 12:40 p.m., when it fell unexpectedly.
The cops made the RCR until the EMS precipitated it at Lincoln hospital, but it could not be saved. His name was not immediately released.
Police identified the woman as a “prisoner”, but would not say what crime she was accused of having committed.
Since she was in police custody, the NyPD forces’ investigations division has been responsible for investigating her death.
An autopsy in what caused his death was pending on Saturday.
The death of the young woman occurred nine days after the NYPD launched another investigation for a man who died during an interaction with the police, said cops.
Shelton Ennis, 54, struck his head and died of an apparent heart attack after being plated on the ground in the Manhattan riverside park, officials said.
The police found Ennis drinking a beer in a paper bag and had demanded to see his identifier when he fled, to be withdrawn by one of the cops, the police said.
