Oasis pays tribute to Diogo Jota during first gig of reunion tour

Oasis fans of all ages have anticipated the group’s return for a long time, certainly years before its reunion tour was tightened, then confirmed in August 2024. Oasis music has been cherished for generations, from the series of the successful album group in the 1990s to the rupture of the group in 2009. Jota, 28, and his brother André Silva, 25, were killed Thursday in a car accident near Zamora, Spain. Tributes have flocked around the world since the news broke out, Oasis providing the latest high -level memorial for the duo.
The brothers’ funerals will be held in Gondomar, Portugal, Saturday morning.
Oasis continues his tour on Saturday in Cardiff before shows in Manchester, England; London; And Edinburgh, in Scotland, as well as additional dates in the world. The tour ends in Sao Paulo on November 23.
