Off-duty NYPD cop carjacked at gunpoint in the Bronx

A nypd cop on leave was carjacké under the threat of a weapon in the Bronx, police sources announced on Sunday.
The 27 -year -old officer was withdrawn from his car by the shooter of avenue Ward near Bruckner Blvd. In SoundView just before 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, sources said.
The crook crushed the stolen car and abandoned it to New Rochelle, police sources said. The police did not arrest.
The cop was not injured.
