Officials believe young shark bit a woman at a New York beach

Wantagh, ny – According to state officials, a 20 -year -old was probably bitten by a juvenile shark while size in surfing in a suburban beach in New York.

The unidentified woman suffered minor cuts on her leg and left foot after being bitten on Wednesday at Jones Beach State Park on Long Island. It was treated for injuries that did not put life in danger, according to a statement from officials of state parks.

The woman has not seen what she bitten, and a search for later drones for a dangerous marine life has not succeeded. But experts analyzing photos of the injuries and other factors think that the “most likely” bites come from a tiger tiger shark, state officials said.

The swimming was immediately suspended after the incident and resumed Thursday morning after control of water by drones and rescuers.
