Narwal’s New S30 Series Improves on Wet-Dry Vacuuming with AI Dirt Detection and Self-Cleaning

With the robot vacuum cleaners that can be mop, damp dryer aspirators become a common tool to save time and efforts when cleaning your home. As its name suggests, wet drying gaps like the Dyson V15S submarine – one of our best wireless choices – can suck up dirt and debris of carpets while making hard floors with a cleaning solution. The S30 and S30 Pro, announced for the first time in CES 2025, are two of Narwal’s last humid vacuum cleaners and they improve the previous generation, the S20 and S20 Pro.
This is what is new.
Narwal S30 and S30 Pro
The Narwal range includes Robovacs, wireless and wireless sticks.
The S30 and S30 Pro both offer a stronger suction, AI which automatically adjusts the cleaning force and an improved autonomy system when moored. Narwal says that the two models share many of the same capacities and characteristics, but the S30 PRO is designed for more advanced cleaning for larger families with pets and children, mainstream maintenance and more control over cleaning. The S30 has similar features but is more affordable at around $ 100 less.
Specifications and features
The two models are delivered with 20,000 suction pass and are able to exert 20 nine of the cleaning pressure downwards. We are currently putting the S30 PRO to the test at the CNET vacuum test laboratory in Louisville, but generally wireless vacuums with this type of suction force tend to mark in our tests.
The S30 and S30 Pro are delivered with an SGS system and TUV certified for their brush rollers to minimize the tangles. The design of the double comb should capture and separate the hair before it is fired, preventing hooves. The S30 Pro also has an integrated cutter and a reverse spin roller, so that it can automatically eliminate the strands of tangled hair from the brush roll.
The most affordable S30 has several of the same characteristics as the S30 Pro, including detection of AI dirt and autonomy.
The models are also designed to adapt under the furniture and more easily hit the corners, with a flat body with 180 degrees. With both, you also get a smart base station that should help keep maintenance hands. After a cleaning session, the base station must heat the water to 194 degrees Fahrenheit to sterilize brushing and keep it without odor. There is also an integrated waste separation system to keep the wet and dry debris separate, and even the internal vacuum cleaner tube is dried in the air after cleaning to avoid mold.
The S30 and S30 pro self-reveal their rollers of mop when moored and keep dry and humid debris sealed separately.
Finally, like most other wet drying vacuum cleaners on the market, the S30 Pro automatically dispens the detergent and can adjust the amount it distributes, probably depending on the level of the soil. There is also Dirtensse AI, who can search for messages and adjust the vacuum suction power. There are five cleaning modes to choose, depending on the surface and the disorder.
The S30 and S30 Pro should each last about 60 minutes per load, depending on the suction speed and the cleaning intensity. Narwal claims that they can cover up to 4,300 square feet on a single load – a complaint that we are now testing with our S30 Pro examination unit in the Louisville laboratory.
Price and availability
The Narwal S30 will be available from August 15 on the Narwal and Amazon website. The S30 Pro will cost $ 549 at a high price, but on sale for $ 499 until September 7. The S30 is $ 449 at full price, but $ 399 at the launch price until September 7.
