Oktane 2025 – all the news and updates as they happen

Refresh
It’s all about us in Oktane today – be sure to connect tomorrow for a crowded opening calendar and exciting updates of Okta and more!
Ok ends Oktane on the first day by talking about Okta for good, the company’s non -profit arm that undertakes to empower cybersecurity communities.
“In the end, the Internet should be an accessible place for everyone.”
He finished speaking of his enthusiasm for new projects, working on his foundation and spending time with his family.
“I’m just happy to take my next breath. I am happy to contribute and continue.”
AI is an essential subject, so OK asks to renate the effects of AI at its workplace. Renner explains that he is the victim of the AI - people used his resemblance and ripped up people who use his charity to encourage people to false donations.
He does not have a lot of exposure to AI outside this negative experience, he says, which is a very useful perspective, especially for those of us who work in technology that can become a little echo room.
He talks about his family before “supporting” what he put on them after his accident. He had to redefine his identity after his accident, which occurred on his own alley – by sharing such a personal journey has publicly brought a positive change which brought a real link and goal, he said.
“It brought me some of the best moments of my life, being crushed to death. I do not recommend it!” He jokes.
He says that he “rejects complacency” and although action requires courage, he finds a great joy to overcome obstacles. “The action is everything, that’s what we are”. He was lucky to be tested at his limits, he said.
The best thing about working on Avengers films was the experienced experience between him and his colleague casting-“a bit like a car accident, you cross it together,” he jokes.
Renner began to act at the university, with double specialization in theater and psychology. He talks about fighting adversity, but he is grateful. The struggle brings a gain.
The greatest advice given to him was his father, who told him to “go out and fail” – this, said Renner, gave him the freedom to explore his passions without fear.
So, to launch, we listen to Jeremy Renner Talking about the intersections of technology, security and the human element. Focusing on “resilience and identity” – Renner, hope, will give an overview of your incredible story (if only there was an application that we could use to discuss it ……
Okta takes the tradition of music from the technological conference of aggressively strong music at a new level today – with its own DJ so that we can enter (I do not complain, it is actually quite good!).
During our last session before heading for the opening opening (with Kerry Ok and Jeremy Renner!) We hear a Okta client.
Okta Cro Jon Addison and Toby Roberts SVP engineering at Zillow tell us about the use of AI and AI agents and how it helps to offer a personalized and efficient experience to buy a house with strong rails of ethical and transparency.
Here is a little glance at some of the most relaxed discussions we have had so far – with truly insightful conversations around AI, threat and identity management actors.
Here is a snapshot of the conversation of Brett Winterford on the intelligence team on the threats of Okta and the trends they have seen developing in the last 12 months.
I already had a fairly excited day today, with a few round tables, a few briefings and even a few.
Until now, we have heard everything Okta secures AI – The theme of Oktane this year.
