Elderly California jewelry shop owner shoved to floor during brazen smash-and-grab robbery
San Jose, California – A jewelry owner of California jewelry was violently pushed violently to the ground after a vehicle was used to crash into the store, and more than a dozen hooded and masked thieves broke the glass windows and have reached goods.

“The suspects fled the premises in several vehicles before the police arrived,” the police said in a statement. “The suspects are not identified and remain in freedom.”
Chris Moore, a member of the board of directors of an AREA Rental Housing Association, posted on the social platform X that the owner of Kim Hund Jewelry, 88, underwent a stroke and was taken to the hospital. The man has also undergone broken glass cuts, Moore wrote.
Responding to Moore’s tweet, the mayor of San Jose, Matt Mahan, described the “appalling” flight.
“Watching this senior getting assumed to boil my blood,” Mahan wrote on X. “These people must face the most severe consequences possible for their actions. I was in contact with our police chief … and I will follow the investigation closely.”
The Associated Press left a telephone message on Monday to request comments from Moore.
