One killed, several injured in Iran missile barrage on southern, central Israel

An Iranian missile barrage has sparked alarm in southern and central Israel, with police investigating possible shrapnel damage.

One man was killed and several others were reportedly injured after Iran launched a barrage of missiles toward southern and central Israel Friday evening, the first attack after nine hours without a launch.

Magen David Adom reported that a man in central Israel died of his injuries after paramedics treated him at the impact site.

Several other reports of shells falling in southern and central Israel are currently being investigated by Israeli police and IDF rescue teams.

Early Saturday morning, Israel intercepted a third series of Iranian missiles over southern Israel. No impacts, injuries or casualties were reported as a result of the barrage.
