OnePlus 15R will get a late launch next month
This month’s OnePlus 15 arrived with much fanfare about its huge battery life, but no sign of the cheaper 15R that was expected alongside it. We now know that this phone will be revealed on December 17, alongside the OnePlus Pad Go 2 and Watch Lite.
The phone and tablet will be released in the United States, Europe and India, although the budget watch is only coming to Europe. There’s no guarantee, however, that the 15R will actually go on sale to US buyers before the end of the year – FCC delays caused by the government shutdown mean that the 15 version is still on hold, and the 15R likely won’t arrive until after that.
OnePlus hasn’t revealed many details except to show colors and reveal a full range of durability ratings for the phone: IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. As for the Pad Go 2, it will support 5G and an included stylus.
