OpenAI adds an app store to ChatGPT

OpenAI just announced in a blog post that you can now connect ChatGPT to even more applications. In fact, OpenAI has also allowed developers to submit their own apps for review, which can then be published to ChatGPT’s app library.
You will be able to access the ChatGPT app store via the Apps button in the ChatGPT sidebar. The apps in the store are divided into Featured, Lifestyle, and Productivity categories. Once you link an app to the chatbot, you will be able to use it by typing @appname in your ChatGPT conversations, and the app in question can then help you with things like making reservations and ordering food.

Developers can also now link ChatGPT apps to their own websites or external apps to make purchases of physical goods. OpenAI is also working to add support for digital product purchases.
