New Hampshire police say multiple gunshot victims at country club. 1 suspect in custody
Nashua, NH – A shooting in a country club left several victims of gunshots, the New Hampshire police said on Saturday evening.
Nashua police said that video surveillance has confirmed that there was a shooter and that the person is owned by the police. They said the scene was still an active investigation, but there is no longer any danger to the public.
The shots occurred at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua.
Information on the conditions of the victims was not immediately available.
An aerial via WMUR-TV scene has shown several emergency stakeholders heading for the stage. Nashua police said on the X social platform “Do not respond to the Sky Meadow area at that time”.
The American representative Maggie Goodlander said in a statement that she “closely monitored the tragic of a shooting this evening at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua” and that his heart was with the victims, their families and the whole community.
Nashua is around 45 miles (70 kilometers) northwest of Boston, just opposite the Massachusetts border.
Dunstable, Massachusetts, who neighbors Nashua, issued a shelter order on site.
