Paige Bueckers holds an impressive streak in WNBA rookie campaign

National champion. N ° 1 choice of global draft. Recruit of the month for June. Starter All-Star. Paige Bueckers has already done a lot in his few months in the WNBA. The recruit of Dallas Wings is not only impressive from a “recruit” point of view, but also to make exploits on a league scale which display its advanced basketball capacity for any age.
This week, the Wings announced that Bueckers was the only player on a league scale to be in the top 10 points for points per game, assists per game and flights per game so far this season. It has an average of 18.2 points (8th on the league), 5.5 assists (8th on the league) and 1.9 interceptions (3rd on the league scale) per match in 2025.

A few months ago, Bueckers led the league on the field and goals on the ground attempted 10 to 15 feet (in total) this season in the WNBA. While she fell into the 99th centile for goals on the ground attempted in the mid-range (10-15 feet), she still leads the league in shots made at this distance (41).
Now Bueckers is noticed for another success in his recruit season: in the 21 games that Bueckers played this season against the best competition in the world this season, she has not yet scored less than 10 points in one game. The last time she scored in one figure was during her last year of college.
Its career summit is 35 points against the Phoenix Mercury in June, in a match, the Wings ended up losing. However, despite their loss record, the Wings have shown a significant improvement in chemistry in the field and the ability to deal with games.
While the Wings are currently in 11th place on the league scale with an 8-19 record, they recently won an impressive match against the reigning champions. In the competition on Monday, Dallas led thread, now even holding a 30 -point lead throughout the match. Their brutality showed in the fourth quarter, when the Liberty took advantage of the drought of an obstacle to the wings and made a 17-0 race, but Dallas was always able to go out. This was due to the balance of the Bueckers recruit, which managed to draw a late fault and bury the two free throws to prevent freedom from catching up in the last seconds.
During the 92-82 victory, Bueckers scored 20 points to go with 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 interceptions, while firing 58.3% on the ground and by committing only 1 turnover.
Bueckers currently leads all the WNBA recruits in the match points per match (18.2), the minutes (34.4), the goals on the field (6.8) and the assists (5.5). After winning the recruit of the month in June, she is the favorite to win again for July when her first incredibly promising season continues.
