Protests against Trump, ICE shootings erupt in Florida: Live coverage

Following this week’s deadly shooting by a federal immigration officer in Minnesota, millions of Americans frustrated with Donald Trump’s administration are protesting — including in his home state.
A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent fatally shot Renee Nicole Good, 37, at close range in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Jan. 7, igniting outrage from the public and city and state officials who disputed Trump administration claims that the ICE agent acted in self-defense.

9:38 a.m.: Anti-ICE threats land Naples, Florida, man in jail as protests set for Jan. 10
A Naples, Florida, man faces charges of threatening to harm ICE agents a day before a protest was scheduled.
Holden C. Manning, 18, was charged with written threats to kill, do bodily injury or conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism against Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents on social media, which is a second-degree felony in Florida.
An “ICE Out For Good” protest is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at the steps of the Collier County Governmental Center, 3315 Tamiami Trail E., Naples.
